Fred Nicole is a Swiss rock climber, born on May 21, 1970, in Bürglen, Switzerland. He is regarded as one of the best boulderers in the world, having pioneered some of the most difficult boulder problems ever climbed, including "Dreamtime" (V15), "Radja" (V15), and "Entlinge" (V14).

Fred Nicole started climbing at the age of 12 and quickly made a name for himself in the sport. He started as a competition climber and won several national and international titles before shifting his focus to bouldering. He has established numerous first ascents in Switzerland, France, and other countries across the world.
